the Detroit Pistons . This team is in the National Basketball Assosiation they were founded in Fort Wayne Indiana this team had joined the National basketball assosiation in 1948 and decided to change cities in 1957 and moved to Detroit Michigan the Pistons started playing in aubern hills at the palace they had the youngest NBA player - coach in the history of the NBA later on in the year 2000 the Detroit Pistons were knocked out of the playoffs by the Miami Heat Joe Dumar took over the team in this year as grant hill got elected to leave the team to go to the Orlando Magics in return they got the best center Ben Wallace also known as big benny wallace and also chucky atkins was involved in this trade in 2001 the Pistons head coach head ben fired and hired Rick Carlisle he lead the Pistons to there first 50 win streak during the season since 1997 and there first play off vicotry since 1991 in the summer of 2002 big changes were made in the Pistons Chauncey billups signed to the Pistons Rip Hamilton from the Washington Wizards and Tayshaun Prince from Kentucky this team changed the whole NBA they had won 3 championchips and they where such an amazing team
